We wrote the book Royal Persian Kashmir Brocades (1975), and the catalogue of the Asian Museum & Yasushi Inoue Memorial Pavilion Collections (1998). New York University’s professor George Anavian has taught the appraisal course in oriental rugs for 15 years. He can also offer comprehensive and honest information to all of your inquiries regarding any product, appraisals, conservation, or selling. As a child he apprenticed with his father Rahim Anavian, who has dealt in antiquities, carpets and textiles since 1922. Both Mr. Anavians have wide ranging expertise in many fields of antiques.
